Game 1: Hellbombers (85) / Hard Knockers (40)

Kicking off the double header of the night, The Hellbombers and the Hard Knockers kept the game extremely close. The Knockers seemed to be a half step ahead of the Bombers as the jams became very cut-throat. Much of the first half was scored in small increments with strategic jamming. While Finnish-Her was doing the most damage for the Knockers, they tried jamming some of their blockers with much success. Erin Gargulio and Stroker Ace ensured that the Bombers stayed hot on the Knockers tail. At the end of the half the Hard Knockers were up by 7, with a score of 30 - 23.

However, the second half was completely owned by the Hellbombers. Forcing Knockers into the box, and being able to nickel and dime their way up the scoreboard, the Bombers only allowed the Knockers to score an additional 10 points in the second half. As the Bombers marched through the Knockers defense, the biggest moment of this game was owned by the beautiful and talented CoCo Sparx, who came off the track as lead Jammer to slap hands with the Turn Two Boys, IMPRESSIVE! In the end, the Hellbombers scratched another notch on their belt and took home the victory. Final score 40 - 85 Hellbombers.

Game 2: Rolling Pin-Ups (85) / Cleveland Steamers (86) OT

Heading up the second bout, the Cleveland Steamers and the Rolling Pin-Ups looked ready to kill. The Pin-Ups managed to control the front of the pack for much of the first half. Fantastic blocking by Vix Smackey and Candy Snatcher was a key element in Punk'd Pixies jammer domination on the track. HI-5 of the Steamers was the major asset to the Steamers offense. In a change of pace, The Killustrator and Professor Booty; two jamming powerhouses, failed to rack up a lot of points in the first half; however, they did a great job of keeping 0 point jams when not lead jammer. With the Pin-Ups going into break with a nice lead, things looked well for the Pin-Ups.

After halftime it was really more of the same. The Pin-Ups were just slightly one-upping the Steamers at every turn. But the Steamers kept fighting and The Killustrator started to really let loose out there on the track and score some points. The Steamers’ newest jammer, CupQuake, was definitely making a name for herself out there, consistently putting points on the board. Two jams from victory, the Pin-Ups, who were holding a 30 point lead, let their guard down and sent in a blocker they are priming to become a jammer. Once Mad-Chatter hit the penalty box things went haywire. Also not helping the equation were two Pin-Ups rookies getting thrown into the box for blatant 20 foot penalties. Back to back 15 point jams for the Steamers and this bout was sent into overtime!

In the Overtime jam there was more pandamonium as the pack looked more like a parade, people were everywhere, both jammers scrambling for every point they could and managing to keep the game tied.

In the first ever Double Overtime for the BRRG League, it was Professor Booty versus The Killustrator on the jam line.  Both packs were stacked with veterans, this was it. As the jam started The Killustrator came out of the pack first. Booty grabbed her third minor, shortly after then gets a fourth minor and is sent to the box. The Killustrator snags a final point for the win and collapses on the track! Steamers in the craziest comeback ever, steam their way to victory 86-85.
